Some people from my parents generation have attics full of 'stuff'. I don't have a problem with keepsakes, I have some that are very special to me, but at the same time, the things in life that mean the most are our families and the people we love! It's so calming to declutter, and not get caught up in the materialism that we are bombarded with on a daily basis! It's also a daily exercise to remind ourselves that living simply does have rewards and makes for a peaceful life!teresaShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06816397798351061375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1816701489487952675.post-90520576424984552382012-02-06T09:02:07.002-06:002012-02-06T09:02:07.002-06:00I'm in total agreement with Sarah. We've made some great paring down choices in recent years, but still have to come to terms with so many little household stowaways that really don't serve a purpose. Except for books. Books are always the right thing to have.James Millerhttp://www.society6.com/hollycrossnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1816701489487952675.post-39318179865927039052012-02-04T18:59:58.022-06:002012-02-04T18:59:58.022-06:00This really made me think, Sarah. I use to kind of envy Grandma (Vivian) Miller when she went to assisted living then the nursing home. Her belongings had been given to family and auctioned off. She didn't have to worry about where things were, cleaning stuff, etc. Max Lucado says we should hoard less, and share more!Tami Millernoreply@blogger.com
